The ceremony launched the official #ECOSOCC20 commemorations, honouring two decades of ECOSOCC’s commitment to empowering African civil society and enhancing citizen participation in continental governance Vice President Nalumango emphasized Zambia’s role as host nation and the event’s symbolism — “a testament to our unwavering commitment to unity, solidarity, and cooperation”
Distinguished guests included senior Zambian government officials, AU commissioners, heads of diplomatic missions, ECOSOCC leadership, and over 200 civil society representatives
